A HOLIDAY GREETING
To the Adopt-A-Child Staff,
In July 2004, my husband Eric and I came home with our 15 month old son, Jacob, from Moscow.
We wanted to bring you up to date on how Jacob is doing. Jacob is now 3 1/2 years old. His sweet disposition has not changed since we first saw him. He still gives lots of hugs and kisses. He's still a typical boy. Some of his favorite toys are his GeoTrax train set, which his father and he tear down and design a new track, monster trucks, the zoo, dinosaurs, and action fugures. Here are a few of the things he knows: the alphabet, numbers up to 20, home address, phone number and spells his name. He bathes and dresses himself. Jacob is like a sponge; he absorbs everything. He loves country music and dancing. He sings in the car. His favorite TV program is "Dancing with the Stars." Jacob and I try to copy the dancers. His two favorite movies right now are "Cars" and "The Land Before Time." He still enjoys being outside either on the grass or in the snow.
Jacob still chases our 5 year old German shepard around the house. Our dog wakes him every morning and during the nighttime and naptime checks in on him. Jacob enjoys walking the dog (with my assistance)
Our family and friends also enjoy Jacob's company. He plays well with his cousins and family friends. All the holidays have filled with fun and laughter with Jacob. He enjoys decorating for the holidays. This past Halloween Jacob went out as Batman.
Again, we want to thank you for all of your help, so enclosed are several items donated by friends, family and us. We still want to let those children over in Russia know that people are thinking of them.
Thank you again,
Eric, Christina and Jacob
