Effective July 19, 2007 Adopt-A-Child, Inc. received official accreditation from the Russian Federation. This Decree of Accreditation allows Adopt-A-Child, Inc. to continue to legally represent American families in the adoption process within the Russian Federation.

Adopt-A-Child, Inc. has been assisting American citizens to complete adoptions from Russia since 1992. Within the Russian adoption community, Adopt-A-Child, Inc. has earned a reputation of honesty and integrity. Sofia Girel, Executive Director of Adopt-A-Child, Inc. states, "I am extremely pleased to be among the first U.S. adoption agencies to receive accreditation from the Russian Federation. We have established ourselves as a trustworthy and thorough Agency, and I believe that our Certificate of Accreditation, received in such a timely manner, is a direct reflection of our hard work and commitment."
